John Lehmann
John Lehmann, a serial entrepreneur, has created, sold and managed over 2,000 public, private and corporate sports, client and team building events.
A former touring and teaching tennis professional, John founded Grand Slam Sports Marketing along with 11 former Grand Slam tennis champions in the 1990's. There he organized corporate, public and charity tennis events and built the company into a multi-million dollar venture. John developed comprehensive sponsorship and endorsement programs with a number of Fortune 500 companies.
John's talent has always been in forging and maintaining long term professional relationships. He's partnered with an array of clients, including the New York Times Magazine Group, where he served as a sports marketing consultant forming creative and effective added value advertising events and programs.
John also founded two other successful sports marketing firms, Orbit Sports Marketing, where he founded Nike's first corporate branded golf program and Network Sports Marketing, where he created exclusive sports marketing programs for companies including Heineken, MTV, Jefferies and Credit Suisse.
Over time, John has created and organized thousands of custom corporate sports events in the US and dozens of international locations many of which featured programs with legendary athletes. He has a unique ability to communicate positively and proactively with clients, colleagues and participants.
John produces events that energize and inspire, resulting in great shared experiences that unite people and enhance bonds and communication.
Julie Wiesman
Julie is the Uplifteam Events Operations Manager, responsible for all aspects of Uplifteam Events staffing and operations.. Julie is also the Health & Fitness Consultant for Uplifteam Events, where she creates and designs events and programs suited to individual corporate and event clients.
With over fifteen years experience in the fitness + wellness spaces, Julie has helped people all over the globe enjoy the gift of exercise and healthy living. As a former NBA dancer and 3X national champion collegiate athlete, her unique training style is challenging, positive and energizing all at the same time. She’s received numerous awards and international accolades, including Top 5 Fitness Instructors in America on the Live with Kelly & Michael show.
he specializes in curating elevated, energizing, healthy lifestyle programming for clientele spanning Palm Beach, Miami, Hamptons, and New York, in addition to hosting group classes , retreats, and private events around the world.
In addition to her work with Uplifteam, Julie has originated and crafted her own unique brand of fitness, wellness and lifestyle, The Joule Life - www.thejoulelife.com.
Gary Kitchell
Since 1981, Gary Kitchell, or “Kitch” has been dealing with tennis specific injuries – their causes and cures. He is a sports physical therapist, a certified strength and conditioning specialist and a USPTA teaching professional and an integral part of the Uplifteam team.
During this time, Kitch has worked with players with more than 150 Grand Slam Titles, including at least 15 former number one in the world ranked tennis players - players such as Sampras, McEnroe, Lendl, and Courier. He has also worked with an additional 400 touring professionals both on the ATP and WTA tours as well as over 4,000 plus amateur tennis players. Kitchell lectures to the USPTA continuing education certification on the biomechanics of tennis.
But what makes Kitch so remarkable is his humor, humbleness and his incredible ability to diagnose and communicate with people. Kitch works with amateur athletes and has also worked with some of history's athletes from other sports including golf, baseball, basketball and football, treating all the same with his unique and engaging manner.
Gary understands that players want to keep playing, no matter the injury. Over time, Kitch has developed strategies, protocols and corrective therapies that are designed specifically for bringing back injured players to the game they love.
And Kitch has developed preemptive performance enhancing training programs for Uplifteam events and other sports that address the required physical demands of strength, flexibility and movement that helps athletes of all levels to maximize their physical potential.
bill Horneck
Bill, Uplifteam's video director, has spearheaded thousands of video, film and TV projects in his career, which began after graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Film & TV Production.
He worked independently for studios and producers in the New York metro region for ten years, producing corporate films, multi-camera sports events, and dabbling in indie projects, mostly in TV.
He then moved to South Florida and began producing a series of nationally televised informational programs including, "Today's Environment with Ed Begley Jr.", "The Balancing Act with Joanna Kerns" and "The Best of Wine & Food with George Hamilton".
He grew the sports programming and production division of Five Star and cultivated on-going relationships with the Miami Heat, Florida Marlins, Miami Dolphins and Florida Panthers.
Bill has field produced numerous specials and game coverage for NBA Entertainment, including all 3 championship seasons for the Miami Heat. He currently produces and writes "Under The Helmet" a half hour documentary series for the Miami Dolphins.
In the world of corporate communications Horneck has led the Minds i team on initiatives for American Express, Patron Spirits, Pfizer, Tetra-Fauna, Rolf C. Hagen & Company, Harley-Davidson, YMCA, Levenger, McKinsey & Company, Sbarros and hundreds of small to mid-sized companies.
In the past two years, Horneck has partnered to develop numerous TV series and specials, including The Bodyguard, Outlaw Wrestlers, Our Wild Life and The Tribute King.
